Health and Safety Policy Preparation and Review

A clear and well constructed health and safety policy sets the direction for the company by demonstrating senior management commitment, setting health and safety in context with the other business objectives and making a commitment to continuous improvement of health and safety performance.

Companies employing five or more individuals are required under current health and safety legislation to have a written health and safety policy in place.  The policy document should identify the key arrangements and responsibilities for health and safety within the company and identify the person who has overall responsibility for establishing and implementing the policy.

Coppolo & Coyde's consultants have built up a wealth of experience working with Channel Islands companies to design and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures.  We are able to assist clients by identifying the policies needed, assisting with the preparation of tailored policies for your company and reviewing existing policies to ensure continued compliance with current health and safety legislation and best practice.
